Yeah, that's more like it. This one also already has a built in audience and I imagine has a good chance to succeed. I've been meaning to watch it myself one of these days. Maybe when I finish up with KOR. Also, $13k for entry is that much more achievable, especially since they've already stated the deadline for three months from today. Might as well start up the second batch once the first succeeds.
Edit: also noticed the DVD box was going for $30, not $40 like the previous sets. Yeah, keep it up with these kinds of series and not the dregs of Pierrot.

WOOOHOOO! My first AnimeSols pledge!
Oh man, I hope this series makes it.
Now, which pledge level to choose. I'm thinking about starting off with $60, but I may bump it up to $90.

I had no idea that there is someone in the US willing to watch this. Although I'm not a fan of this series yet I hope it reaches its goal.

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
If Kanno Yōko hadn't made my heart explode with unbridled joy and wonder this afternoon, this news would be the best thing of today.
It's still pretty damned great.
I've really been hoping for a chance to see own series since I found out about it, which was redoubled by my enjoyment of The Rose of Versailles, and I've really wanted a chance to support AnimeSols too. This is the perfect opportunity.
I will certainly be contributing. I too was equivocating between the $60 and $90 levels, but since I came in well below budget on Otakon and I really want this set, as well as this project, to succeed, I elected for the $90 level.

Now here's a show that I really want!
I'm definitely in for this one. Hopefully the other new shows will be good picks, too.

Why wouldn't there be? Oniisama E.../Brother, Dear Brother is one of the best pure drama series of all time and one of my top five anime of all time. It's glorious.

From the person who made Rose of Versailles? Im sold. This will be my first pledge to them, so Im hopin for the best
I'll probably start with the $30 pledge, and maybe go up at a later time. But What's an E-conte? Its in the $60 pledge.

Same director of both as well, and Aim for the Ace. He sure did have a thing for man-faced women.

It's a copy of some of the storyboards for the show.

I've always said, "You know, I might pledge on one of these shows, if I thought it would reach the goal, if I really wanted the series, blah blah blah...". No more excuses. Time to put up or shut up.
$250. Pledged.
And if you haven't seen this, stop what you're doing and watch it now. This is one of the most brutal shows ever made. And completely beautiful.

Brutal than stuff like Berserk or Genocyber? I'm joking lol.
I did $90 pledge. This is my first Anime Sols pledge.
