Positive, aren't we? -_-; People are going to be shocked, but I wouldn't think they would boo.

Seriously, ecstatic aren't we, I know you're not liking how the series is, but I find it so-so, with some good moments. I don't even mind how it goes when it's over anyways. >_>

Golly, I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that screening room tomorrow.

I'd have to agree with you as well. I actually own the first season but the way it has all ended has left such a bad taste in my mouth I'm going to sell it off. I don't want to watch it again now that I know what happens.
The first season, while flirting with the whole incest thing, really came across to me as the attempt to mend a broken relationship between brother and sister. It all went to shit. Lead characters became worse in every respect and more and more trope laden.
Such a pity. It could have ended quite a clever show. Instead it ended up like any other harem incest crap.

Guys, Oreimo was always bad. It tried to be a dramatic show but failed on every count with the awful and highly unrealistic female lead (yes, I am STILL annoyed that Kirino is so patently otaku-pandering), ridiculous plotline, bizarre focus on incest fetishism, and making every other character look like shit just to support the author's OTP.

Maybe you're right. There were certainly some pretty bad episodes in season 1, with the ones around her getting an anime made being the worst.

That is exactly how i felt about the first season. A fun comedy about a sibling relationship being fixed with Otaku stuff thrown in. What it became throughout the entire second season is complete rubbish. I hated it way before the ending come. That was just the icing on the s*** cake really. The second season by the 9th episode i think it had turned into a full on harem. It was insane!

Didn't happen, quite the opposite really. Though the final few minutes really confused the hell out of me. Rewatching on simulcast might clear things up, but I suspect only Dark Horse getting the books out will resolve that ending.

It was lighter applause at the end than the enthusiastic applause at the beginning. Plus half the audience left between the last episode ending and the prepared Q&A with the book and show chiefs, though what that says is anyone's guess without exit interviews.
