Not surprising Gargantia was picked up. I'm sure it'll do well.

I'm more surprised Viz got it. I thought FUNi or Sentai would get 1st dibs.

Well, I suppose I won't be watching Blood Lad since I live in Canada. Seriously, Viz, why can't you use something other than Hulu for simulcasts? There are anime fans in Canada, you know.

Interesting seeing Madoka Magica there since that's more of a girls' show, and the service seems to be more boy-oriented. Good news about the VOD and Mac and PC. I just might subscribe now. Razz

Wow, Viz is the winner in my book. Neon Alley on PC and Mac, yes!

Also, Hell Yeah on Gargantia and Blood Lad!

Madoka Magica--->girls show?

Ummmm......I think not. Anyone can get into that show, as long as they watch at least the first 3 or 4 episodes.

Same here. Surprised indeed.

Where's Viz's dubbing operation based out of these days? It's been so long since I've been interested in anything with their label on it.

Same here.

What dubbing studio does Viz use these days? It's been so long since I've been interested in anything with their label on it.

Zetman and Berserk have a NYAV dub, Tiger and Bunny and K have a studiopolis dub, Lagrange, Accel World, and Nura have a Bang Zoom dub. Expect them to Gargantia and Blood Lad to split off into one of these.

They also finally gave a concrete answer on Monster. It's on indefinite hiatus. According to them set 1 didn't do too well and that put the nail in the coffin.

Viz got Blood Lad? Welp that's one series I can't watch... Weird they got it considering Yen Press has the manga.

Gargantia is an excellent series and I look forward to the dub(I hope it's Bang Zoom! so maybe we'd get Crispin Freeman as Ledo. And maybe Stephanie Sheh or Wendee Lee as Amy).

It's technically aimed towards male otaku, but it transcended to be liked by everyone else. You should definitely check it out! Surprised
