I hope Bandai will still do the Sailor Moon chibi-arts figure they had previewed a few months ago. I'm much more interested in that one personally.
Normally I wouldn't worry, but Bandai's made prototypes of Chibi-arts figures before and then never released them. (like most of these: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/77763 ) I just don't want the same thing to happen and then I'd have missed my chance at collecting the Figuarts as well. |

Yep, I pre-ordered. Can't wait to see more reveals over the year. I grew up with those really ugly Sailor Moon barbies, and I would have damn well near killed someone for figure like this when I was about 12. |

Let's take 戦士 ("senshi") from 美少女戦士セーラームーン (Bishoujo Senshi see-raa-moon) title: 戦士 【せんし】 "senshi" (n) soldier; combatant; warrior ... it simply doesn't fit the "image" when literally translate to English in dialogue. |

I think "soldier" and "scout" are both fine.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a scout is "one sent to obtain information; especially : a soldier, ship, or plane sent out in war to reconnoiter." It still references soldiers. And the girls do fight for justice and to protect the universe. Doesn't that make them soldiers? If not, then what are they? Things shouldn't be this complicated, guys. =/ |
