[EDIT: You really hate that anything is better than Bleach, don't you? -TK]

To be fair, you could probably stare at a bottle of actual Bleach and get the same result as reading the comic.

i am also kinda happy, but Sailor Moon the manga is that good? i like the best the anime first season honestly, i don't like much the other seasons, and with the manga is the same, i only like the equivalent of the first season and not much the rest, and between anime and manga, i like more the first season anime, much more plot then the shorter and more simple manga |

I too am soo happy its doing well. Out of all the manga coming out now, I wish Sailor Moon succeeds the most (I feel bad that I stopped promptly buying it past volume 4---but I wish it the best success) |

So 18 volumes is a 'short' manga now? And who says 'short' equals 'simple'? Sailor Moon's manga is plenty complex. There had to be enough meat to adapt to an anime after all. Though it quickly becomes clear that the anime and manga are their own stories and comparisons are relatively pointless because they both stand on their own very well. So how much of the manga have you read? |

Don't feel bad. You can afford what you can afford. |

This release is just 12... That is short. I quit buying them after the 6th Volume since Kodansha were jerkoffs and put a BoxSet out. -_- Hate when the companies do that. Even though the first box is ugly as hell I'll be waiting for the second box set... |

It's always great to see Sailor Moon doing so well!
I've really been enjoying the manga, though I'll admit I'm two volumes behind now (which is still better than most of the other series I'm following!). Some of my enjoyment definitely is due to nostalgia but there is a reason that this manga became as influential as it did because there's a lot to enjoy about it. It definitely have my favourite version of Usagi, though the one from PGSM is a close second. |

I was pissed at that too. I mean, seriously!? I'm still getting all the volumes as they come out though. I didn't even think about waiting for the next boxset (feel like crying now). Ah, well. |

So did I, I only have up to volume 4 (and both Sailor V volumes) and I plan to buy the first set but it's not a top priority or I would have bought it already.
Well thankfully we now have a date for the second set as it's being released at the end of October. http://www.amazon.com/dp/1612623972 I plan to buy both short story volumes since I don't think they'll release those or V in a set of their own. |

I stopped all together on volume 3 and then got 4 as a gift. I couldn't work through the translation/editing/whatever is going on with it. Though, I have been thinking of trying the English Sailor Moon again since volume 11 is set to come out next week where the Stars arc starts. But, it's nice to see older shoujo manga selling well. |

Nope. Sailor Moon was originally released in 18 volumes; this is a condensed version, genius. And yes; how terrible of them to release a boxset for the people who haven't caught up with the releases. Convenience for other people doesn't mean inconvenience for you. |

I'm just glad they started selling it at Wal-Mart, my towns too small to support a decent book store like Barnes and Noble or Books a Million, it really helps me out to know that when the books come out I just have to go to Wal-Mart and pick it up instead of driving an hour away.

Just wait till Toei (eventually) remasters the Original Sailor Moon anime. Sales of the graphic novels and pertaining merchandise are going to skyrocket.
And as for the Walking Dead, I'm not surprised to see it there. Most comics tend to lean towards super-heroes and the Walking Dead ranking high means that some comic book fans are getting tired Super-Hero genre that plagues comics to this day. American comic publishers need to look to Japan and adapt to many genres outside of the tired Super-hero genre. I don't have anything against them but they are really starting to get old. Ironman 3? Seriously Disney? How many more sequels and Spinoffs are we going to see in our lifetime? Where's the originally in that? |
