It was only a matter of time before they picked it up. Even so, this news makes me very happy. Fate/Zero was a fantastic show and the dub sounds amazing. It'll be a delight to rewatch it

Very nice. Depending on how much it costs, I might just have to import this.

AoA can suck it. Cool

Considering that I have never laid hands on a AOA release, why do you consider them to be inferior to Madman's releases?

Price. Even after shipping, UK and AU releases tend to run considerably less than Aniplex of America's releases.

Take Madoka, for instance. You can import the entire collection on bluray from Manga UK for around $48 USD, shipping included. If you were to buy AoA's R1 release, it would cost you $40 for a SINGLE disc of only four episodes, $120 if you want the complete series. And if you want the limited edition, those cost $75 EACH, which brings the complete series to over $220 bucks. Shocked

In the case of Fate/Zero, Madman has already confirmed that their release will have the English dub. So far, there's been absolutely no indication whatsoever that the dub will ever see a US release on a physical format. And even if it does, AoA will charge a minimum of $150 for a DVD release. Count on it.

For me, it all depends on the price. I rated the two seasons of F / Z as very good which means I don't feel compelled to own it. So, unless I can get the complete collection for under $100, I won't bother. I'm prepared to wait for a complete collection release.

What do you do about the region code on the DVDs?

The only thing anyone can do - get a region free/region modded player, or use software to do the same thing on a PC.
