Well, at least they're uncensored from the start. I'm sure there will still be another TV anime on the way.

I'm not sure I'd mind a continuous OVA either, so long as it wasn't 9 months apart like the SYD ones are. Once every two months would be decent. But I suppose it's easier on everyone to collect everything into 12 episode runs and rely on the BD sales...which is why the OVA market is diminished in favor of single cours.

Im spilt on ovas. On the one hand they usually have less restrictions, but on the other hand they are too cramped. Tenchi Muyo is my favorite show of all time, but I think the 3rd OVA, and even the first two would have beenbetter served as 12-26 ep seasons to flesh everything out. Instead you got Kagato one episode , pretty much into Dr. Clay the next. Hell in pretty much consecutive epsiodes you introduced 4 major female leads.

I think ovas are best for small arcs, but hopefully the ovas here are only a bridge to a second season. Hell we never got the ovas from the first tlr, so there is no guarantee we would even get these.

It's from the same artist that did the Black Cat Manga. Borrowed similar character designs and ideas including the whole Eve character and Eve spoiler[having a mom/creator something] into this show.

Same character but different universe. The character here is not the same one as from Black Cat, in fact I think that while they use similar characters and stuff there are some differences.

And there goes all hopes of seeing this new anime outside of Japan, because for some reason, Sentai haven't picked up the past OVAs.

And guys, you only just realised the Black Cat throwbacks now? It's not like Golden Darkness is basically a clone of Eve, Kyoko has become a prominent minor character and Train appeared in the manga or anything.

It wad always "apparent" but was only made more clear that it was the "same" characters and not a reference after train and tearju. But as stated different universe not black cat canon background etc

....whatever, I still see censors in the BDs.
Xebec better not animate chapters 20.5-20.6, it'll be a trainwreck if they do.

Mm, this better be uncensored. Anyways, I might watch this but the previous OVAs were a bit unimpressive imo.

They are still censoring Mikan, probably out of some "Moral" issues with showing a 12 year old naked.. but other then that, the OVAs have been uncensored.
