Good to see this series make a comeback. I started to fade out of Astray after Destiny Astray, when the whole thing trailed off on a Mars tangent and a whole bunch of other multicolored Astrays were introduced (Green Frame, Purple Frame, Silver Frame, Mauve Frame, Cyan Frame, Eggshell Frame, Reddish Off-White Seafoam Frame...), so seeing the original leads return is another plus. Hopefully Gold Frame and Rondo Mina Sahaku will also be returning to the story.
And hopefully if this new manga takes off, it might also lead to a possible Astray anime. Astray was always SEED's better half, IMO (especially after SEED Destiny retroactively damaged the first series with the sheer force of its suck), and I think it's long overdue for a proper TV series or OVA. |

Im probably the only one , but would like a definitive yes /no on whether carnard paris is kira's brother or not. the only legitimate argument I heard was well kira's mom could not have been the mother to all of the experimental kids. But my counter argument is that if the kids are born using some kind of cloning incubator, she would have enough eggs to provide for several thousand kids, if they were fertilized and then grown elsewhere.
