In the ANN news blurb, it says:
Where did ANN get this info, particularly the Nov. 20 release date? On ICv2 they reported:
And the press release on Viz's site makes no mention that I can see of the Hikaru no Go GN coming out before it's serialized in Shonen Jump:

Do you think Right Stuf was misinterpreting Viz's press release? The press release seems pretty clear that HIKARU NO GO is being serialized in Shonen Jump first. I also interpreted Viz's press release to be saying that October 7, 2003 was the date for the "sneak peek" of RUROUNI KENSHIN in Shonen Jump, but that the first RUROUNI KENSHIN GN wouldn't come out til November.
