I'd say that it would be AMAZING if it was X getting finished finally, but realistically, they're probably doing xxxHOLiC Rei, being CLAMP's new primary publisher.

Nothing on this side of the ocean can get them to finish X. They'll do it when they're ready, if they ever are, and we won't be hearing about it first from Dark Horse. My money is on xxxHOLiC Rei like you said, maybe Drug & Drop (with a Legal Drug license rescue attached). If it's none of those they I'll just shrug off their use of "new title" if it ends up just being a license rescue. I wonder if the Koike manga is Kajou. |

The announcement of new Koike is welcome -- and timely, since I just started watching the Mad Bull 34 anime for the first time tonight, and my palate is freshly primed for more of his manly manga for manly men.
I've got every Kazuo Koike manga ever published in the US, including Comics One's OOP titles, and I'll be snapping up whatever this new license is on day one. |

Tecnhically, they did announce Gate 7 through Dark Horse. That is, back when it was planned on being released as "mangettes". I wonder whatever happened to that, anyways? I remember looking forward to a new short story every month... I enjoyed CLAMP's shorter 1-volume works. Also, I often forget about Drug and Drop... I'm not sure why, I just forget that it exists. Probably since it hasn't been licensed yet, but it's not like there are many chapters of it. |

The interview was probably done beforehand, but too bad they didn't add a mention in the article about Toren Smith's recent passing. And too bad the manga craze has died with nothing to replace it. |

The only CLAMP titles I can remember being licensed but not rescued yet are:
RG Veda, Duklyon, Shirahime-Syo, Wish, CLAMP School Detectives, Man of Many Faces, Suki: A Like Story, Miyuki In Wonderland, The One I Love, and Legend of Chun Hyang. A few of them are one-shots so, if Dark Horse had plans to rescued them, an omnibus release would probably be the best choice. Not too mentioned quite a few other one-shots that was released elsewhere except for the U.S. like Rex. Drug and Drop is on hiatus due to health concerns so that's understandable. It would be cool if Dark Horse resuced Legal Drug in omnibus; my Tokyopop versions are getting all yellow and frail. |

I always forget about Charmander er-Rex^^ (Well, it does pre-date Pokemon). That would always be a nice treat. I also forgot about the health issues too. Feels like every day I'll read about a mangaka or game developer having health/wrist issues A Legal Drug omnibus would be nice too. Although I have all of the old CLAMP Tokyopop, I still need to pick up all the new shiny new Dark Horse versions at some point. I loved finally getting to read Clover, as I didn't buy the flipped Tokyopop versions (although they did have pretty dust jackets...) |

I hope it's Legal Drug and it's sequel. It'd be really cool to read it.

More CLAMP is amazing. ^^ I really do hope is Drug and Drop/Legal Drug or xxxHolic Rei first and foremost, but I rather have xxxHolic Rei come from Kodansha/Del Ray, in some ways just for consistency with the first series.

A bit downer for Dark Horse that CLAMP isn't a hot property as it used to be.
