I thought the shorts were pretty good, as someone who watched Hokuto No Ken during the Summer from Discotek's releases I thought it was funny in relation to what I saw. It could be pretty hit and miss sometimes, but when it hit on something that had something to do with the plot, like a "mummy" I found it humorious.

Happy 30th anniversary Hokuto no Ken! I'm still kind of new to the series (only read the original manga, Souten no Ken and Jagi Gaiden), so this seems like something worth checking out.
