Sounds pretty cool for Araki. Kinda surprised I didn't notice that homage before...

The fact that Eastwood met with him and did the pose is awesome by itself.

I dunno, every so often a fantastic film would come out...
But it'd get undermined by the public and flop in the box office and lose praise to the latest Superhero film (a genre I loathe by the way) or Katherine Heigl excuse for a "movie"

That's really kind of adorable and an awesome thing for Clint Eastwood to do.

Not shown in the photo: Eastwood is pointing at the empty chair that the photographer was previously sitting in and mocking it

Even with that stupid stunt he is still so awesome it's practically irrelevant.

I am (positively) surprised that ANN has reported this news at all. It was on Comic Natalie about 10 days ago (which is one of the basic legitimate news sources for Western agencies) and I am used to seeing here everything concerning My little cute sister is a sheep but I love her because of that (made-up but metaphorical title!), but not something of a wider cultural appeal and importance like this.

Araki was talking with Yamaguchi about 'visuals', and with EnJoe about 'narrative'. Those two are extremely prominent in their respective disciplines, so it could be very interesting to read those transcripts as well.

Eastwood was the inspiration for Jotaro? Shocked

I did not know that. That just makes Jojo even more awesome than it already is. Very Happy

WOW!!!!!!! I had no idea that this Araki guy based one of his characters on Clint Eastwood and now,he's met him. I'm really happy for him. Looks like the meeting when well. That was great. I was really surprised to learn that. He should be proud. If I met Clint Eastwood,I'd be proud as heck, too.
