I hope they get sued.

Oh Peta... you never stop making a joke of yourself. And I'm someone who actually agrees with your ideals, just not the way you go about it.

PETA is such a joke that all I can do is shake my head sadly at them. They used to have a purpose too.

Aren't they also 12 years too late in trying to get this message across? Pokemon's popularity ain't what it used to be.

Stay classy PETA.
Wonder if Nintendo will say anything or just let the fan rage speak for itself like with the Tanuki thing.

For the anime maybe, but the games still sell like hotcakes. Went to pick up my copy of B/W 2 yesterday and the line was a nightmare.

Hate. Them. So. Much.
I support animal rights, having owned many, many pets myself over the years. I will NEVER support these pathetic, attention-whoring hypocrites who would rather kill animals than actually help them.

Yay, it's like 1998 all over again!
Seriously, it's this kind of buffoonery that makes me wonder why people support PETA rather than saner organizations like the ASPCA.

Are they only supporting animal look-alikes? Dragonites and Gengars have feelings, too!

Yeah, that's the saddest part about it. Nothing ruins a good cause like a group of idiots claiming they're working towards it too. I believe strongly in animal rights, but uh...how about we worry about the animals in real life first and foremost?
I mean...uggggghhh. What part of 'Fiction' do these people not understand?

That's a good point. And what about pollution monsters like muk and koffing? Surely they deserve to be allowed to thrive in the wild as well, they are integral parts of their local ecosystems after all. And man, it sure is sad how poorly those discarded cicada husks are treated!
