The Neptunia artist was all I needed to know to be hyped for this. From the moment it was announced, I wanted to watch it.

I'm getting sick of all those Sci-Fi shows that call themselves Sci-Fi shows but are actually magic disguised as Sci-Fi (Horizon). I'm glad this does NOT look like one of those. This looks like a true sci-fi. This looks awesome.

Care to run that by me again, because that really doesn't make much sense.

I've heard about the LN awhile ago on another site but didn't check it out at the time. Now, that I think about it, this promo video and some details interests me a bit.

That was a pretty impressive trailer. Well, mostly. I'm a little worried that they felt the need to include a pantyshot and girls competing to shove bentos in main boys face in the PV. But execution is everything, so we'll see. At least that panyshot was from a girl giving a nice, good morning dropkick to the guy's stomach and she had a rather nice smirk as she did it....

Anyway, was already looking forward to this based on one of the character designs and this trailer has certainly increased my interest significantly.

Dammit people, how many times am I gonna have to mention this?!

Genres are not rigid lines, they're fluid and prone to mixing.

Not to mention that Horizon is basically "Clarke's Third Law: The Animation"

Anyway, having watched the trailer now, I have this to say:

That the most schizophrenic trailer I have ever seen.

Holy shit, it literally flew straight from "epic sci-fi" to "harem comedy" with zero transition. Just "here's some epic shots of a girlHERESANOTHERGIRLFLASHINGHERPANTIESANDKICKINGTHEHEROINTHEHUEVOS"

Nonetheless, I'm a sucker for sexy girls in mecha suits. And Neptunia's char designer? Hell yes.

Cool, the trailer ran through how this anime will exactly mimic all other 'sci-fi romantic' comedies.

yay to job creation?

Honestly, this looked a lot like a mechanised Shakugan no Shana, at least in the love polygon aspects (though I guess fighting to have your person of interest eat your bento is a common trope). It was pushed over the edge when that one black-haired girl was eating that treat. I thought, "Meloooonnnnn breeeaaaad...!"
