This will be useful. Wonder if I'll be able to save it to my iPad?

I'll probably still order the print catalog from CD-Japan when it comes out in November. It may be easier to tab the pages in the print version for quick reference. Tho' I'll likely have a set of notes for specific circles for easy navigation in the halls.

They never said it will be put online for free. They will probably charge 2500 Yen for it just like the printed edition and the CD edition.

"The website edition of the catalog is scheduled to include new features such as an overhead map view of the event space showing individual artists' "circle cuts," submitted images used to represent and promote their spaces at the event."

Umm, I have the printed edition for Comiket 82 right here and it already has both of these things. I mean, the overhead map view of the event is one of the most important reasons people buy the printed book.

The print edition has a map and it has the circle images. I could be totally wrong, but I read this as the web version will have the map WITH the circle images ON it. Since a web version would not be constrained by print limitations, that seems like a really good feature. Plus, since "like" circles are often grouped together, it would make finding new circles of interest MUCH more convenient. (I realize they're MOSTLY grouped together on the same row, but since locations CAN vary, it's a bit more "hunt and find" in the print catalog)
