This man was responsible for some of the earliest anime films, ones that tested the water for theatrical animation native to Japan. Around the age of 11, I heard about "Alakazam" and "Magic Boy", and how important they were when it came to anime's rise to popularity. Daikubara-san's legacy will never be forgotten. R.I.P.

Oh wow... Alakazam is my mom's favorite animated movie. She even has it on VHS.
