The disc also has a roundtable discussion by the voice cast and the April 2012 broadcast version of the 51st episode from the first Eureka Seven anime

What the hell!?!? Is there really such an episode out there??!!

EDIT-
answering my own question-

Episode 51 "New Order" ["Shinki Chūmon" (新規注文)]
Quote:
A special episode that erases the events that happen from episode 48 and onwards and rewrites the ending. The concept for this special was a possible alternate ending the staff of Eureka seveN thought up, and the script for this special was first performed in 2006 at a Sony Music Festival by the original Japanese voice actors. In March of 2012, Studio BONES decided to put existing footage of the TV series to this audio and air it for the first time on television. Episode 51's alternate ending entails that Eureka must go on a journey to scatter seven pieces of her soul across the land in order to calm it. In the end, Eureka and Renton must part ways, but Renton vows that they will meet again someday, no matter what. Episode 51 has absolutely no relation to Eureka seveN's sequel known as, 'Eureka seveN: Astral Ocean' as this was an alternate ending that was not used for the original TV run of the series, and Astral Ocean continues from the events that happened in Episode 50: Wish Upon a Star.

Elena cosplaying as Maka and that is why she is awesome. They haven't announced their "familiar" title yet, I certainly hope they do soon though.

As for Episode 51 it's mostly just a depressing alternate ending that was recorded a few years ago and they finally set it to animation recently even if it was clips from the first series...
