Im totally pumped for this it almost brings a tear to my eye lol. So now my only question is that will this be an updated Xilla or the same one they put out in japan because I heard there problems with boss battles and things that should of been added to game but were not. Can anyone shed light on this?

I'm so excited for Xillia!! I've managed to avoid all spoilers so far, let's hope I can keep that up until 2013...

Can't say I'm surprised. Still, a shock nonetheless.
Now, call me when Bamco localizes SRW OG2nd and then we'll talk about them being my favorite publisher. |

I cannot express my happiness right now. In my mind, this even trumps the Sailor Moon news today. With how much Graces flopped, I had pretty much given up home of this coming over here.

Source on that out of curiosity? And don't say VGChartz. I've heard it sold fairly well. Then again, that could be just people hyping it up. |

Well, would you look at that. Quite the pleasant news for today! I've heard about how the game was kind of rushed to release in order to make the Tales' series anniversary, and I'm hoping we get a sort of "Director's Cut" with additional content and story, but now that the next Tales game in Japan has been announced as Xillia 2, Namco might choose to just put resources into that instead of doing any further development on the first title.
But eh...either way, I'm along for the ride. Xillia's world design looks much more interesting than the typical fantasy-pastel worlds in which Tales games are usually set, so I'm interested in exploring that world. |

Graces didn't flop. It hasn't even been released in Europe yet and it has already sold over 220k overseas, which is really good for the Tales franchise. It only sold 380k in Japan. The opening week in the US was 127k in comparison to 50k for Vesperia. Graces has already shown Namco that the localisation of Tales games in the west is a very viable investment. They had even more of a reason to bring Tales of Xillia over with it being the best received and one of the best selling Tales games in Japan. |

Nope. NeoGaf mod had access to the NPD sales numbers, and it sold 63k. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=39274208&postcount=322 |

Sweetness! This is good news...no great news for NA fans of the franchise.
Might be too late for that since the DS is pretty much a dead platform even though the 3DS can play DS games.
That's not bad and since Xillia is coming to the US, those sales numbers for Graces F might have been in line with Bamco's expectations. I'm so used to looking at Japanese charts that 63K is decent, but that's barely a drop in the bucket in the US when games can move at least in the half-mil mark. |
