Seems like an odd venue to tell people you've divorced. Kinda like a "Hey everyone, I'm single again! Any takers?!" thing.

Maybe this is completely normal for Japan, and in which case, I'll shut up. But like dumping someone on their Facebook page, I think a public announcement is in rather poor taste.

Guess you can say that noone asked. Noone probably wouldn't have known about it if he hadn't said anything. But any relationship, not just Japan that are not working out than it's best to go separate ways than trying to force themselves to be together when it's impossible. Best to both of them in the future~~

Why did I get the feeling those two would get a divorce...? It's good to know though. Good luck to both of them, especially Yusa (Chroah in Ar Tonelico II, Ichiro Takatera in Persona 3, Hyoubu in Zettai Karen Children).

Why do seiyuu marriages never last? =(
At least it was a mutual decision.

I know right? I mean I bet after this news Yusa Koji's popularity will soar even more (as if he doesn't have enough diehard fans already). It's kind of sad that voice actors almost always marry other voice actors but the strain in their profession and relationship pulls them apart...

Maybe he's already in love someone else and announced the divorce so people know that he divorced his wife before he dated someone else?

Well, all the best to them none the less.
