I was going to say something like "I came" but that would be a bit icky. So I'll simply say that this is the best news I've read - Anime-related or otherwise - in months.

I thought after the Anime's bad sales that the show wouldn't get a second season, but it seems that sales of the Manga were boosted sufficiently to compensate. It is this sort of wonderful news that helps keep my hope for (and faith in) Anime intact.

Yeah, best news for quite some time, I was not happy with the current season, hopefully the next one will be better.

Chihayafuru deserves this much, if only the picked up season 2 for some series deserve them.

i'm correct in thinking that there is plenty of material to make another 25 episodes season right? i don't think they'll make another 25 episodes, 12/13 seems much more likely for a sequel, but i can dream

It must have done good things to the manga sales, because the disc sales were...underwhelming.

I enjoyed the show, though it wasn't one of my favorites.
