This could be interesting if it does turn harem, and I cant see it not being a possibility since its a. from one of the dudes who did Hanaukyo maid team, and b. its set in a world with low birth rate so any kids would be a boon

Hmm, sounds interesting, I just hope it'll avoid some of the typical cliches.

the original Hanaukyo Maid Team set standards.
the remake verite I did not care for much, it was too serious.

What's this?! A possible social commentary?!
Japan's almost already there - its fertility rate is damn near 1!

The "ultra-extreme declining-birthrate (kinda science-fiction?) romantic comedy" centers around Haru Hanasaki, a boy who is turning 15 in a country where the drop in childbirths reached critical levels. |
And this probably contributing to it!

What is it with anime/manga and increasingly absurd genre names? New shows always give themselves wierd made-up genres.

Douglas Adams' Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is, according to Adams himself, a "thumping good detective-ghost-horror-who dunnit-time travel-romantic-musical-comedy-epic". It sounds more like a description of Haruhi Suzumiya to me (though most of the genres do apply to the book).
