Having played the original trilogy I am curious about this, but the promo having no trace of Yuuko-sensei makes me a bit Sad (I realize this series takes place in a different location, but favorite characters are still favorite characters)

I will be curious for the initial review from ANN. Since this is the sidestory of (one of) the best visual never ever (Alternative rated first in vndb with a huge margin with the 2nd), I wonder if people will commenting about the anti-gravity boobs instead :p

Of course, they'll just call it generic giant robot fightings alien invasion anime with too much fanservice. I'm not expecting them to actually watch the show past episode 1, so they can make their little preview guides.

And they would be right, after watching the video. In fact, anyone would say it is a generic fanservice show with some mechas :p

But seriously, it's easy: If you don't like the previews, don't read them.

Kenji Hamada as Valerio Giacosa
Rie Tanaka as Sharon Heim
Tomokazu Sugita as Vincent Lowell
Kaori Ishihara as Cui Yifei

VG confirmed for Team Patrick? I can dig it.

TEH RIE as Sharon? YES.

Vincent Lowell? BUUURRRITOOOO!!!

As I hate Yifei, let's see what I think about this.
Maru.

Musical artists Minami Kuribayashi, GRANRODEO, and ayami will contribute to the project.

That's...weird. I heard they weren't going to reveal who's doing the OP and ED until it came out.

Either way; this is really being promoted.
Give me a R1 release of the original trilogy please, preferably the all ages enhanced port?

For anyone who played MLA (though I believe this one is based off a light novel IIRC?) what are the odds that Akane Suzumiya from Kiminozo is in this show? I heard that Muv-Luv is sort of an alternate dimension with some Kiminozo characters, but I don't recognize any other those names from age's previous title.

They are in Alternative.

Total Eclipse is a prequel of sorts to the Alternative timeline. I wouldn't count on them being but at the same time, I wouldn't count it out yet because age likes cameos. At least, they did with Akane Maniax.

Hmmm. Looks interesting. I certainly don't mind the mecha and character designs.

Then again, skintight bodysuits isn't generic fanservice.

I don't know if I'll survive MuvLuv and Horizon airing at the same time.

Hahahaha.

With all the recent news posted regarding Muv-Luv, I should really pick up the two games that were recently ported to the Xbox 360. Even though I'm not as big of a mecha fan these days, this seems like a VN series I could sit through.
