hopefully they do animate the rest of it..because barely anything happened...
80-90% incest, 10-20% stuff actually happening that mattered to story :\

I'm guessing there will be an extra episode or two on the home video versions.
EDIT: Although, if that's true, that might mean it will take longer for them to finish making "Kizumonogatari"...

I thought it was pretty much gauranteed we'll be seeing every else animated. It prints too much money to not do it or let it go to another another. Even modest sales in the 10ks would still be outdoing most anime.

Even though I didn't watch Bakemonogatari I found Nisomonogatari illustrative enough to comprehend most of the storyline. In my mind the 11th episode as a staging area for the finale is enough. I thoroughly enjoyed this series as it was presented but do wish some outfit would pick it up and release the entire storyline to those of us wishing a dvd or blu-ray review momento of all that creativity. It was a fun ride.

Sorry but this is the most obvious thing I've ever seen outside of Sanakaku Complex "news". They announced 10 more Nisio Animation Project series a while ago remember and while I do wish they were all the Zaregoto series I'd say most of them were *Monogatari. and just to throw my thoughts out, I'd say this will be the last TV series for monogatari unless they omnibus a few novels, it'll be either be OVAs or movies which isn't the worst thing in the world

I'm ready for Kizumonogatari. Honestly, outside of the two seconds of Senjougahara that we get in Nisemonogatari, the scenes with Shinobu are the ones that stand out. More of her is a good thing, and Kizumonogatari is the strongest monogatari that I've been able to read thus far (can only read what gets translated, but still).

Yeah, more *Monogatari anime would be nice, but it would be kind of nice if someone would license the books themselves and translate them.
Seems like it would be up Yen Press's alley, but LNs don't sell that well, sadly.

The whole series has been solicited on DVD/BD - 5 volumes that cover 11 episodes.
If there is an extra episode or two then it'll have to be released on it's own volume. No news if SHAFT is going to be a OVA for Nise.

Not surprised, and for those worrying if it won't continue, don't.
They'd be insane not to continue it. The series makes too much money for them not to. Nisemonogatari is already expected to sell at least 50,000 copies of the Blu-ray in week 1. It actually has a chance at beating Madoka Magica right now.

Well I mean, Tsukihi's story in the novels wasn't actually a "story" if you ask me. It was more of a round about epilogue if I recall correctly so not surprised here...
