I really like this replacement system better than the Bandai method - ask for the UPC and order number. I understand that they have the ability to do this, since they're only online, while Bandai was not, but it's still nice not to have to mail my discs into NIS. Thanks for being so quick to respond and responsible, NIS!

When are people gonna stop praising them for their good replacement program and start getting pissed off because they keep screwing up? I don't care how new they are to anime, a screw up is a screw up and they've done a lot of them.

Swift rectification of mistakes can earn more respect than a lack of mistakes to rectify. It's a visibility issue.

So you disliked Bandai, who seldom had DVD issues, but like NISA who screws the authoring of pretty much all their DVD releases? That's just splendid!

I also love NISA, because they always insist on giving us DVD releases even when a proper native HD Blu-ray is available! Hooray!

Glad I decided to pick up ME3 rather than this set.

For the record people, there is no reality to this statement. The only examples of this are Working and Toradora, which had DVD only releases in Japan and didn't even have a BD set announced until well after NISA's sets were released. Not being able to magically conjure BDs for a series when none exist anywhere on the planet is a pretty weak complaint.

Well, this is one advantage of not ordering something right away.

Out of all the companies that released anime DVD's in the US, you just claimed that the one, Bandai, who had the MOST dvd issues could be classified as seldom?

Nothing is perfect, someone or something will screw up eventually.

Bandai had PLENTY of dvd issues in the past.

If by Native HD Blu-ray you mean JP release, well... both Toradora and Working JP BD were released AFTER NisA release. House of Five Leaves and Zakuro NEVER got a JP BD release to begin with.

I wonder what we are supposed to do with the original disks after we receive a replacement. It would be nice to donate them to a local library if we don't have to mail them back...

Well if they have a problem I am going to trash them.

While it is upsetting NISA has constant mistakes like this, I do respect that they do something about the mistake pretty much immediately. If all I have to do is fill out a form and my discs will come to me there is really nothing to complain about.

So for now I will just admire the pretty box set on my shelf and wait for the new DVDs to arrive to re-watch the series.

The company has a inability to put out normal products in this format. I mean to many. I had to replace the Torandora disks as well from them. Thought they would have FIXED these issues.

It is a a shock that they still get labels even with all the issues. How about wait for the release then wait for the FIX then pick up a copy. This would not work since the fix is not set up for the older releases even after the problems are noticed.

scary.

I don't think mono audio is a big enough problem that a library patron is going to feel ripped off.

Still, how does this keep happening? Do people not like, watch these things first?

People can bitch all they want. NISA does a great job and this sounds like it was on the manufacturing side of things. They were quick to fix this and that's all I ask. If they sent me defective discs and refused to replace them, then I would have issues. Since they fix things, then I have no issue with them. Plus, when people use Toradora as an example of their mess up, it was their first ever release. Get over it.
