I WAS WAITING FOR THIS.

Rushing to Best Buy as soon as possible.

Loved the game but didn't have enough time to pick up the original releases.

Oh dear ^^; Skip Beat! has been coming out for a few years now (since 2006). But better late than never! And it makes me all the happier that ANN publishes these release-lists, since apparently bookstore shelves aren't doing the whole job of keeping readers informed about what's available.

Who the heck is actually going to buy Fate/Zero at that price. It's ridiculous.

I hope this is a typo. Or the price they pay in japan converted to USD.

It's like the Madoka sets weren't expensive enough for Aniplex.
Since when is this price going to turn about any profits?

[EDIT] Oh... Actually, for one, the retail price is about $370. It includes the entire first season, PLUS 15 minutes added to each episode (cut from the TV broadcast), PLUS some bonus animation/booklet content, PLUS the original soundtrack, PLUS the first (two?) Drama CD('s?), which are about 4 hours each (they cover the first two novels, like the anime).
You're definitely getting a LOT for what might be considered a reasonable price... but I'm not sure if it was a good idea to release them all in this one set. Not many people would be able to fork out that much money, let alone would they be interested in everything...

It's an import. That's right, they're not even printing English boxes for you.

The ridiculous thing is that they promised it to us on the release date. RightStuf still hasn't started shipping.

The drama CD included contains completely new material written by Urobuchi, focusing on Kiritsugu and Iri's relationship.

Yeah I only got another "we're working on it" e-mail Sad I'm curious though, where was it stated that they promised it on the release date? I've seen a few people say this, but don't remember reading it on an official announcement or anything.

I never heard of this, nor can I find it. Where did you get this information from?
