Very nice. Good to see it relicensed again. How far is the sequel manga though?

I'm happy for its fans, but I didn't think the series was that popular in the US.

Total of seven volumes so far and still going. Volume 7 of Aozora no Senki was released last month in Japan.

Ed Chavez tweeted that the last few volumes didn't sell well. I'd imagine that they'd go for e-books in that case...It might be too much of a risk to print them.

Huh! Unexpected indeed! I loved the anime for EG, but to be honest I didn't like the manga that much (I only read what Tokyopop published). HOWEVER, no matter how they re-release this, as online or in print, I will buy them (and perhaps even double dip on volumes I already own).

There's a mistake in the article. Erementar Gerad finished its run in Monthly Comic Blade.
It's the spinoff, Flag of Bluesky (Aozora no Senki), that is running still in Monthly Comic Blade Avarus (now called Monthly Comic Avarus).

I was considering getting Elemental Gelade from Tokyopop before it got shut down, but I was happy that it was licensed. On other hand, if it's going to be release in digital format only, I won't be buying 'em since I never liked the digital version. I'd prefer to buy 'em in the print version. :/

I don't support digital only releases. If there's going to be a paper release, I will buy it.

+1 on the nervous anticipation of a real copy. Luckily TP ended on an even multiple of 3, as is the total series, so omnibus are definitely in play.
Nothing against the digital bookers, but we must all do our part to see that the treants die, and those packing/shipping boxes just aren't cutting it.

I've been interested in the manga, but if they're only doing digital I'm passing. Not going to invest in something that could easily be lost or corrupted as opposed to the real deal.

Where are you guys reading that it's mabye a digital-only release?
DMP print's (almost) every series/book they licence (if the print those yaoi manga's, why wouldn't they print a shonen one?) and they can release this in omnibus form.

I think it's just the name "Digital Manga". And people who don't follow yaoi/BL aren't so familiar with them.
