Note that the red and white kings, queens, and knights are actually from Through The Looking Glass.

I forget the name of the source, and I remember the fact that it was an official one, but I did read somewhere that Schneizel el Britannia is a homosexual and that he and Earl Kanon Maldini were lovers... So this isn't so surprising to me.

Having Nina be The White King would make more sense than Cornelia li Britannia, although then again it's not like Euphemia li Britannia viewed herself and Nina in the same way Nina did...

Check the paragraph in the article. It said C.C. will be the Cheshire Cat, and Kallen will be the March Hare. Wink

lthough keeping regal titles, Charles will take on the ironic role of the rather timid King of Hearts next to Marianne, who will get to showcase her power as the Queen of Hearts.

It's not ironic at all, it fits them perfectly. Charles is whipped.

I already knew about this since some scans came out. If anyone hasn't seen it here's a small pic that comes from the Code Geass LJ community http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c65/nokiirat/cgwondlad.jpg (Schneizel... <3). The full version of the scan is at oreno.imouto.org, and there are lots of other pictures of wonderland playing cards and figures at the LJ.

Jeremiah is sort of in the OVA, at the very least you get to see him... getting electrocuted? http://i546.photobucket.com/albums/hh419/dtshyk/9c2bcff0.jpg

I really, really doubt that it was an official source. While Kanon jokes about it in an episode, I don't think there was ever a confirmation that it was the truth or that Schneizel is gay (which he doesn't have to be to be with Kanon anyway). That would have been pretty big news in the CG fandom if someone confirmed it, and considering Taniguchi Goro's feelings on the matter I think it's unlikely.

I am pretty sure Schneizel is bisexual, because he also seems to have been in love with Cornelia.

Cornelia was a lot closer to Euphemia than Nina ever was, so it makes sense for Cornelia to be the king to Euphemia's queen.

Am I just missing it somewhere, or is there no Suzaku in this? My favorite character from the original series not being in this makes it much harder to be interested...

edit: nvm, I was just missing it, it's in the main paragraph. I'll be looking forward to this after all!

edit2: Why did I love this show for so many years, and I just now realized it's a CLAMP production? I feel ashamed as both a CLAMP fan, and an anime fan in general, lol

Man, that cast list is really something! Man, I wish that Bandai will get this alongside Akito the Exiled so that we can all reunite with the old cast members before we get to see the new ones with Akito the Exiled.

So is there even a slight chance that this will be released in R1? And if so, will it be dubbed, preferably with the original voice actors?

Can't be any worse than CLAMP's Miyuki-chan In Wonderland.

It's not really a Clamp series. They just did the character designs.
