It's even better than I expected, HOW is this possible??? Shocked I've been saying all along that this movie will rock, but.... GOSH, I almost got nosebleed!
And even Yamagata Aritomo will show up, God, thank you...

This looks much better than I expected! Actually looking forward to this now!

Although I'm curious what they're going to cover. So far both the Jine and the Aoshi arcs? I would think it'd be one or the other. And how does Saitou fit in here?

This looks really good! Every actor looks the part of their respective roles, and the production values look great. I'll have to check this out when it becomes available.

stars as title samurai

He's a wandering swordsman, not a samurai. In fact, he was never a samurai. He fought on his own accord and beliefs during the Bakumatsu and didn't serve under any kind of feudal lord or nobility whatsoever. He fought for them, sure, but only for said beliefs and under the title of "assassin," not "samurai." People need to realize there's a difference between samurai and swordsmen, especially in the context of Kenshin.

As for the teaser, not bad. I've always been skeptical of live-action anime films (especially with Japanese production values), but the actual aesthetic look is pretty decent. The music was a big part of the anime for me, so hopefully they have a good score for this as well. And if the acting or script just totally blow, I think the initial impressions of the cinematography can make it look cool and stylish enough to at least be entertaining.

So far, it's just regular action scenes we've seen in Hollywood movies. We wanna see the special moves that makes Kenshin! Laughing

Man, Kenshin will also jump around in fights like in the series! I suppose the story will cover about the first seven volumes cutting some parts based on the characters shown.

I'm not sure why everyone's so crazy about that footage. Looks extremely generic and kind of cheap. Here's hoping it's actually decent.
