Diomedea seems to be a pretty well-established studio with a long history of animation. Seems strange. I can't think of another show which had a two-week break like this. Seems very strange.

Assuming that incredibly vague statement is true and it really is something on the broadcaster end that is responsible, that at least is better than if it was a problem on the production end. As for the wild speculation bit ... well, I blame aliens.

Actual giant squid monsters have risen from the sea and are attacking Tokyo city. Airing this would be insensitive.

I've gotta say I think this theory makes more sense. We can further infer that these squid monsters are the result of leaked radioactive material from Fukushima.

The other two stations just realized that getting it two weeks after TV-Tokyo was the worst move to possibly make and phrases like, "never air your productions again" were uttered... and now all stations will get the same episode at the same time.
