Argh! Too long! Oh well, hopefully the 3 and a half year wait will just mean the fourth one comes out that much sooner.
But damn...I still remember when they announced that the first one would be out in '07 and the other 3 would come out in '08.

I just hope it's good, because after the 2nd movie everyone's expectations are going to be through the stratosphere. |

That is what they originally said, but that was also back when they said the last 3 films would would all be out in 2008, so their release schedule has changed significantly. Since they've officially announced the release of "3.0" and there's no sign of "Final," it looks like it will be released separately. Although I'd love to be proven wrong. |

Man I hope this means Asuka is in it a lot more than last time.
They haven't mentioned part 4 in a looooong time. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last one. 4 doesn't really fit into their cute naming scheme they got going on. |

Well when I watched the series not knowing there was a second/different ending the show didn't really appeal to me that much, I just thought of it as one of those really confusing anime that could be interpreted multiple ways. After seeing the alternate ending the series made way more sense but when I head about the remakes I was thrilled but a little skeptical at the same time. Now I can't wait for them ^^

At the very earliest. The DVD/BD probably won't be released until Summer 2013 in Japan, and there's no way we would have it until probably at least 4-6 months after that. Early 2014 would be my guess. |

Oh, that's right. Somehow totally forgot that these are theatrical releases. Erm...Evangelion 3.0 for AX 2013 at least...please? |

A sub version at AX would be possible. Did 2.0 play at AX '10?
