There's a group of us already planning to attend the ANN panel, we'll try not to be too rowdy. If you spot a tall, bald guy with glasses and a Voltron T-shirt on Friday that will be me.

Unfortunately my schedule conflicts with the other ANN staffed panels. Might make it to the Underrated Mecha panel, depends on if I stick around for the FMA Q&A or not.

If Vandread and Nadesico aren't in that underrated mecha panel, I will be disappointed.

And are you guys going to be recording these and putting them up on the site? You did with other Dubs that Time Forgot panels, but it'd be cool to see both of Mike's panels since I can't go.

I'd love to be there for some of these. Going to AnimeExpo is definitely on my bucket list.

RahXephon and Fafner come to mind, but what would blow me away is if they included Bokurano.

I've gone to Otakon for the past 3 years and can't come this year due to personal circumstances. I'm really going to miss it. Sad

A> Are there any prominent twitter feeds of the con that I can follow? I love twitter info! I'm already planning to put @Edsizemore and @Erinf on my text feed.

B> Is there a chance that someone at ANN can liveblog a panel or two? Especially the Tiger & Bunny Panel?

C> Talking about Erin, she's hosting a panel at Otakon, too!:

Be sure to check out my Unusual Manga Genres panel on Saturday at 9am in Panel 2. Maybe I will bring donuts for the brave souls who manage to show up so early. (I work in the evening, so I've rarely seen that hour in the past few years.)

If you can't go to my panel at Otakon, one of the manga titles I discuss is Disappearance Diary, an autobiographical one-shot about a sci-fi manga artist who spends some time being homeless. Manga about the homeless may not be a large genre, but I just watched an anime series (based on manga) about eccentric homeless people last weekend.

Let's make sure people know about it! Smile

Yes, and I'll do so very closely while breathing heavily and giving strong evidence that I do not understand shampoo.

I agree. Vandread and Nadesico are totally underrated.
