Somehow they don't look younger, but more like a different artist's take on the characters. Maybe if they changed the outfits a little.

I saw these last week and I think they're pretty cute. I'll probably only pick up Gintoki, Hijikata, and Okita though, unless it ends up being cheaper to buy the entire set than 3 individual figures on eBay.

I can see the difference with the men, but as for Kagura and Tama, I don't think they changed at all lol.

Once again, poor Shinpachi gets ignored. Then again, even Kagura still hasn't got a PVC yet. Sad

Anyway, these look decent, but I'll focus on getting current-age figures (since all I have right now is the Gin PVC, not that I'm complaining since it's an insanely-awesome figure) of the characters before getting something like this just yet.

Considering there were several pontential time skips (maybe not, but there have been several holiday themed manga chapters.

However, even that wasn't the case, Gintoki's actual age has yet to ever been reveled. Kagura's inital age and Shinpatchi's age were reveled years ago (Kagura being 13-14) at the start and Shinpatchi being 16-17 at the start as well.

Even though I've been reading the manga for years, even I don't know Gintoki's real age. Little details have been given over the chapters and some back history has also been given, but no solid information.

But even so, the characters look (for the most part) the same as they do in the manga/anime. Albeit smaller and maybe a slight difference in color as well.

Doctordoom85: Yet he has not only had a entire arc dedicated to him, but also several chapters. In one instance, the chapter divided into two chapters. Out of all the characters in Gintama though, he is easily my favorite though.
