Huh. I'm kinda puzzled as to why this bonus disc would be a DVD format when the only way to obtain it is to first buy three Blu-ray sets.

I'm glad I'm not the only one laughing at this.

I bet the episode will deal with the issue of having a library full of an outdated format and will end with Chiri using DVDs to kill the entire class, again. "There can only be Blu-Ray discs on this shelf ! "
But hooray, new episode...?

I'm wondering do these Blu-ray versions contain subs at all? I had noticed a few of the Japanese Blu-ray versions did.
A dub would not even make sense for this show. This show lives on Japanese parodies, it would turn out really bad in translation. The only way would be to make a really different script/rewrite. The jokes will not come across, worse than Lucky Star jokes (unless you knew of them beforehand since they aren't as fast pace and Zetsubou)

They don't, at least, not according to amazon.co.jp. From what I've heard, KyoAni is the only company that puts English subs on their releases of TV series.

KyoAni's not the only one. The recent Baccano! BD box includes Funi's subtitles and dub, and the Utawarerumono(sp?) BD set from long ago also included subtitles (were they the ADV subtitles?), IIRC. As far as other, non-KyoAni TV series, none immediately come to mind, but that doesn't mean that there aren't more out there...

Probably going to be an ep about milking money from fans for Blu-ray boxes when the series will be an upscale, offering no benefit! lol
Either way, would be nice to have this on any format with subs!

Are you sure? When I checked CD Japan for the Baccano Blu Ray box set, it said it didn't come with any subtitles nor a dub. I'll probably double check a little bit later to make sure though.

CD Japan is not a particularly reliable source of information for subs and dubs on Japanese releases. None of the retailer sites are. But yes, the Baccano! JP BD box does have the English sub and dub.
