*chuckles* That was funny. I think Nina has been successful these last few weeks showing us that we all have "standards" and that we all can be close-minded about certain things.

I myself cringed at the thought of having a "Family Circus" movie. It might work as one-panel strips , but a movie? Uh... no.

Family Circus isn't that bad... most of the time. Oh well I highly doubt that there will be a very many kids begging their parents to take them to see it (assuming that this movie isn't made up, I forget.)

The guy who created Newgrounds had an HTML game where you hired Golgo to assassinate the dad from that strip. Laughing

The big question is: will it suck in 3D or will it suck in Live action?

Any bets on the Live Action candidates?

I'd take Family Circus in a **major** plot arc if it means"Sexually Repressed Gary" never appears again!

Oh no, what if Gary is also a news elf?

DAMMIT!

LOL. Hilarious. Next up: Marmaduke. --oh .... wait...

Maybe Seth and Andy can join forces to convince the movie studio to do a Zippy the Pinhead parody of Family Circus. (which actually kind of happened). Griffy stuff would be something Seth should know about...

I'm glad Robin took a swipe at Family Circus. Smile That tripe was funny for about 2 minutes.

Hey, if they can make something out of a pachinko parlor, they sure as hell can make something out of an one-panel strip that's been around for decades! Laughing

Andy The Superhero Comic Book News Elf Is. So. Damn. Dramatic. About. Everything!!!!

Which contrasts nicely with Seth's slacker hipster attitude.

And now with a cause that affects them all, the trio of Nina, Andy and Seth will unite like...like SUPER SENTAI NEWS ELFS!!!

This is awesome! Laughing

That wasn't an actual Family Circus comic, was it? I'm aware of its reputation online, but I've never actually read the thing.

BTW, this plot arc is great Very Happy

There's seriously gonna be a Family Circus movie? For as long as I can remember, that strip has never made me laugh. What's the movie gonna be? Oh, is Billy going to wander all around town instead of doing the quick errand that his mom asked him to? Oh how quirky! Maybe dad will come home and give mom a good smack to the mouth because dinner isn't ready on time. Hey, why not? The strip is still stuck in the 1950's after all. Maybe the elves will combine and save humanity from having to suffer through any more Family Circus.

But, it's obviously just me because the damn thing wouldn't go on for 50 years if everyone thought it was worthless trash like I do.
