Light probably made a pretty good sempai in school, model student that he was. Possibly as an investigator, too. The only reason not to want him would be if you knew he was Kira, in which case I can't blame you.

Hmm, I feel like read Doraemon because I got no idea who Gian is.
Frieza would be a a scary sempai since not only is he naked, he also whacks people with his tail, and I do not like being whacked by someones tail. GINYU FORCE! |

I'd have said "Char Aznable", men, all his protégés, kōhais and similar die in some shocking way. Or blown into a bits by a Gundam, which is actually almost the same...

It's pretty much a given and it's extremely obvious that no one would want Frieza as a sempai. Mr.T: Yet Gian/Giant never killed or tried to kill off some of the main characters in Doraemon. He also didn't kill two of the main character's father's as well like Frieza did as well. |

Exactly. While I never did consider Light a villian and was on his side, when you compare him to L its easy to see him as a villian. L would not kill anyone on his team to capture Kira while Light would gladly do the opposite to make his dream come to true. I would say at the start of Death Note both Light and L were sane but as the series progressed L kept his cool while Light's power went to his head while trying to play God. |

Light is the bastard child of a magnificent bastard and an antihero. I do consider him more of an antihero than villain, though.
