That beast Unit 02 looks cool enough to justify it not even being the whole head.

Uh... the price of those rooms is really bad, considering you can stay in much nicer hotels in Japan for much cheaper prices.

Hahaha, this is funny! And we just watched Eva 2.0 too in a theater the other night. And with projector problems too - a stunt I wouldn't had put over Gainax being Gainax trying to condition the malleable sheeple - first the screen was all black for 5 minutes, then all pink for 5 minutes, then the overhead lights went on, then went off, and on and off, then the screen was all green - you get the idea, conditioning.
And the hotel rooms have to be expensive given the hazmat equipment they'd need cleaning up all the spooge!

Unfortunately the movie was not available where I live, and therefore the photo in the report is slightly spoilerish. Not that I'm complaining, but some might. It is going to be one frustratingly long wait for the Blu-Ray to arrive in my mailbox (in April, I think).

Wow, that's a big head. Eva 02 is just as scary. Now I would love to see that up close.

Because the last thing an EVA fan wants while traveling overseas is to wake up to...an unfamiliar ceiling.
Quote: | Guests can also wake up to a morning call exclusively recorded with the character Rei Ayanami's voice... |
Hmm...if it was Misato or Asuka, I can see that working. However...
Rei: Ohayo gozaimasu. Time to get up.
me: zzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz...
A wake-up call from a character incapable of raising her voice above whisper mode? I dunno...
Quote: | The hotel will begin accepting reservations for its only Evangelion room for 370,000 yen (about US$450) a night (subject to seasonal price changes). |
Will they offer a discount rate if you agree to sign a liability waiver and they fill your plug-entry bed with LCL fluid?

At least it's not Shinji telling you to wake up, considering how that seems to turn out.
