Wow now if more manga companies do this download/read online for free thing I wouldn't mind clicking every ad I come across to support them =D
So will this be in Japanese only and no English scans?? I know stupid question just thought I'd ask anyways Dx

It is highly unlikely that it will be in english, but there's really no reason it shouldn't have english language scans.
Kodansha and Shueisha have many translated manga that they could scan and upload for such a site.

So which one is the Kodansha manga? I see a Shonen Jump manga and another Shueisha manga. So I guess it's the Mayu Shinjo one-shot. But I thought that Mayu Shinjo was a Shogakukan artist (At least her previous series were...). Is ANN sure it's Kodansha and not Shogakukan?

I heard the first beta test hasn't been that successful. They got a lot of downloads but very little ad clicks. But I guess if others are joining, it was succesful enough for them.

I would still like to see this site launched here, maybe Kodansha USA could try to work on it.

I hope the release the numbers for this first beta once it's over. *crosses fingers* I hope it's successful so it can help pave the way to the digital age.
