S1 was really good IMO but s2 was almost literally spoiler[60% about graduation ..really stretched it out and killed the "sadness" that should've existed.] also the music was a lot worse than s1's good stuff but people still buy it for the moe and now there's a movie my guess is it will be a compilation movie or spin-off ..not much they can do for a "sequel" that i can see |

I don't care what the plot is or whether it's a prequel, sequel, side story or spin-off, just please let it have some fully-animated song performances! No cutting away to static scenery shots or focusing on the girl's faces while they play lengthy guitar solos or drum fills! They did a great job with the performances towards the end of the second series, but they never quite nailed the magic we saw in Haruhi's "Live Alive".

I'm happy with this news!
 Is it too much to hope for the movie to be based in the future when and if their band ever makes celebrity status? I think that would be cool. Though, it'll prob be maybe Azusa joining them in college or something. Please don't let this be a compilation film!
