I heard about this a couple of days ago, and I've got to say it's hilarious. They really think pedophiles are self-identifying themselves with pedobear. Up next, a story on how thieves can be easily identified since they all dress like the McDonald's Hamburglar.

Oh how I love seeing internet memes wrongly misinterpreted by news programs and other people who are idiots. I just love it when internet memes work their way into real life via people who don't know any better that it's an in joke.

I'm probably one of the only people looking at this and thinks whoever from California is taking this a bit out of proportion while at the same time not finding it that funny personally. To clarify, I'm not offended or anything, I'm just thinking, "really?"
I mean, I never really cared for the pedobear meme. I don't really get how the thing is so popular on the internet. You'd think South Park's sexual harassment panda could've also attain the same following or something, but eh. |
