Well I really loved Kara no Kyoukai and Bakemonogatari was awesome. Katanagatari is on my next to watch list so to say I am really excited is an understatement.

Yeah this was pretty much my sentiment (though I'm another person who's only familiar with ufotable through KnK ); having said that the NisiOisin connection only goes so far as the LN illustrations, so maybe it isn't actually worth that much. Still, I'm eager to see what's in the works. |

If it turns out to be a Zaregoto anime.. life will be complete.

Ota has denied (with a laugh) that the project is ufotable's anime adaptation of Zaregoto. |

That's too bad...they should have animated Zaregoto before Bakemonogatari, it's awesome... My bet is that it's Magical Girl Risuka, from Faust collection 2. BTW, both these awesome novels are available in English, I highly recommend everyone to try them out. |

A part of me has just died a little inside. There really should be an anime adaption of Zaregoto, as future releases of the novel under Del Rey is uncertain. Oh well, I can always hope that someday it will get green-lit. As for the actual project itself: take is invovled. Take is my favorite illustrator. I will watch whatever this project is if they are in charge of the character designs. |

The new ufotable project definitely has me curious after what I've seen so far of Kara no Kyoukai and I liked their animation work on Coyote Ragtime Show and the Tales of Symphonia stuff which are the other two shows of theirs I've seen.
Even though I follow anime much more than manga and novel news I'm curious about the Gen Urobuchi and Yun Koga collaboration since I liked the concepts of the anime versions of both Phantom and Blassreiter and Yun Koga did a great job on the 00 designs and if it turns out good it could end up a future anime since they've both been involved in several projects that have anime so I'm interested in finding out what Kin no Hitomi Tetsu no Ken (Gold Eyes, Iron Sword) is about eventually. |
