Nothing wrong with buying a little manga...I'm sure he had to while away some hours on plane rides or waiting for meetings etc.... But I guess I have a bit of a skewed view since the Governor of my state said he was going hiking while instead taking a plane ride down to South America to be with a woman he was having an affair with, leaving the state without a Governor for a while with no one in the Government knowing where he actually was and scrambling to cover for him.....

Haha, good times. Paradise kiss is one of my favorites, but being an adult male I think I would have a hard time admitting that to anyone I know in real life. I imagine in an office of politicians there are a number of 40+ year old males. I wonder if they are at all embarrassed that the whole of Japan knows they are reading something that appears to be oriented more towards teen girls? I'd have quickly pointed out that it was a gift for a daughter or niece.
What's that you say? You're a politician misusing funds, and accused of abusing your power, join the club. But you're reading teenage drama manga, time to turn in your man card, and from here on out your suffix shall now be -chan. |
