A nice model, but yeah, the Tamashii series isn't too high on the die-cast metal. Hell, I can probably argue that my Dark Effigy HMS beyblade has more die-cast metal in it than my Tamashii A-Spec Dragonar-1 Custom... Well, maybe I won't go that far. I still really like my D-1, anyway. Too bad it doesn't talk like Layzner does, as the Dragonar's did have talking AIs as well.

Wow, that Tekkaman Blade one looks badass! Do that one in the future! But wow, $175. I think you can buy the whole S.A.V.E. line with that much cash at once. Or a nice TV. So torn!

Hey! I got that one a couple Christmases ago! It's great! And the batteries still work too! "Ready."

Excellent review. I've only vaguely heard of the show but the mecha design looks great. I'd love to see more reviews of Real/Super Robot toys in the future.

Nice review! Thanks for going the extra mile and actually recording some of the sounds.
It seems that you get some nice extras (die-cast metal, sounds), but it still is out of my price range. I haven't seen the show yet either...

Awesome. Brings back memories. Wish I could buy this show as an R1. So dark and ahead of the times.

Thanks once more for an awesome review. I love how even a person like me who normally has no interest in super robot toys can enjoy your column regularly.
