Well now! Considering all the bad news we've gotten in the last several weeks I'm not sure this is the kind of thing we really want to be hearing right now, but there it is.

Considering that Navarre's 2010 fiscal year ended on March 31, and their announcement that they expect to list Funimation as a discontinued operation in the first quarter of FY 2011, which will be up at the end of June, one wonders if they have a buyer lined up.

If so, I imagine it would be announced during the conference call on the 4th. Whatever happens, we can probably expect to see some changes in how Funi operates.

I'm not liking the sounds of this. I like what Funi has been licensing/rescuing/soon-to-be releasing lately (Shikibane Hime, Rosario+Vampire, FLCL, Dance in the Vampire Bund, etc) so any uncertainty which something like a sale inevitably brings is very unwelcome to me as a consumer.
