I'm so proud of Kimi ni Todoke! Those are awesome numbers for a shojo manga in its first week! And the cover is adorable. Very Happy

Wow, I had no idea that Flat was that popular. It's really cute and I know that people like it, but not to this extent. But congrats to it; maybe we'll see it licensed.

Wow, Kimi ni Todoke is that popular in Japan? Impressive, half a million copies. I really prefer the manga to the anime though, which I think has lost some of the charm of the mangaka's storytelling.

Kimi ni Todoke's anime adaption is actually pretty well done. compare to recent shojo adaption, there isn't any mising panel, nor was there any storyline changes.

Only a handful of series I can remeber recent in which the anime adaption does the manga justice. [Nana, Nodame, and Lovely Complex, thought the latter one was a bit rushed towards the end and was cut short, would have be perfect for a 39-episode series, instead we got only 25-episode.]

Yay, Kimi ni Todoke!

"Suki tte Ii na yo." is a Kodansha title, not Shueisha.
