Why do you feel it's tacky? I find the idea amusing. I can only imagine our former president doing something similar. They'd run over budget because of how many takes they'd have to do in order for him to say the words right.

I don't think it could get any more awesome than that, personally. Not only is the former Prime Minister an anime fan, not he's a seiyuu, too!!

Bush was ok with prepared speeches, and Obama is not much better than Bush when unprepared. I hear Obama doing lots of "uh.. uh..." during interviews.
