This is good news!
I loved the dub and can't wait for the movie to come out in english. Even if the movie is kind of confusing with it being a really weird fit in the story |

So I'll be able to watch Erueka 7 right here? Sweet, I'll be able to cross another anime off my to-watch list.

Although since finding out my dad has netflix streams of series already released on DVD don't interest me as much, I am still very excited about this. Assuming they put it up quickly (or I wait a while) I won't be bound by going one DVD every couple of days, I can marathon it. During it's [AS] run I only managed to see random blocks of episodes and never quite grasped everything. I did enjoy what I saw though.

I hope the imax near me is planing on showing the movie (they have done the bleach and naruto and death note stuff so)
Are they re-naming the movie or just keeping it pocket full of rainbows? |

WOO! At first I thought the announcement was just about the show streaming. I took a second look and realized it was about the movie being released here too!!! It's my favorite anime, so I just might see it in theaters. As long as it gets a Blu Ray release I'll be a happy camper. I also have to get the complete collection of the first half of the series that just came out.

I missed watching this series on [as], so it's very nice that I don't have to buy the DVDs blindly now. Keep up the good job, ANN.

Sweet! I'm going to so hope that one of the two theaters around me will get the movie since I've been anxious to see this since it was announced. ^^

Is this movie supposed to be a sequel or an alternate retelling or what?

Wow, guess I need to finish watching my DVDs... I've had them forever and started marathoning through it, but stopped somewhere around episode 30-32, I forget. Now I have a reason to finish the series, and if this is playing in the theatre that Fathom normally gets for anime movies, I am so getting that day off from work and going.

Does anyone know if the Eureka Seven film will be dubbed? And if so, will Bandai get the original cast back?

The article doesn't say if it's dubbed or subbed. It could be dubbed, but it could also be subbed, since Bandai is airing the subbed version of the first TTGL movie at Anime Expo. I'd certainly hope it's dubbed though, I loved the dub.

"NCM Fathom and Bandai Entertainment bring the highly anticipated US debut of the English dubbed Eureka Seven - good night, sleep tight, young lovers - to movie theatre screens nationwide. This is a One Night Event – Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. (local). "
http://www.ncm.com/Fathom/Anime/EurekaSeven.aspx Read the links and things people... It will be dubbed... What I want to know is why they changed Image to Eizo... I can understand the change of the movie title, as it shares the name with an Elvis song, so copyright might have been a problem... but the Image thing, I can't D: |
