sweet, I can't wait, I'm sure it's gonna be slow paced but have a satisfying ending that pays off like the others, lol.

Where did the katakana in the original article come from anyway, if it was a verbal announcement?

I can't wait! I am a big ABe fan and I'm sure this will be yet another masterpiece like Lain or Haibane Renmei!

Woops, double post... connection error... anyway, I hope it'll be some good stuff; I seriously enjoyed virtually every aspect of SEL.

The same way words are written to represent English speech. If the title were in Kanji, it'd be different, but kana are purely phonetic.

Wouldn't it still be written in katakana?

Crying or Very sad They didn't mention He did Niea_7. I loved that show. It gets better every time I watch it.

I was just wondering today when he was going to work on a new anime. I don't even remember why I was thinking about that.

For having made "Haibane Renmei", my favorite series and one of the real modern classics of anime, I will follow this project through its development.

I was working as Japanese guest liaison--not exactly translator--with ABe at Sakura-con. He clearly said Despera, which he explained was from Desperado, but somebody must have written it down wrong. I should have checked Anime News Network's posting. Sad

That's fine. Honestly, I don't care what he calls it; I'm still going to watch/purchase the series when it becomes available Cool .

To me, any mention of ABe and anime is a good thing, so this is great news. :3

Didn't they also do Texhnolyze? I'm a big fan of Lain and Renmai too! Can't wait to see what's happening next!

Texhnolyze was a Konaka/ABe show like Lain. They probably shared other staff also but those are the only two I ever remember.
