Okay... I'm going to say this: They better do a Naruto Nation thing with the Graphic novels... seriously... they better do it.

Oh my god, finally, but I swear, we had better get a mass-release of the individual volumes to go with this. One volume every six months doesn't cut it when there's 30+ we haven't received yet.

I didn't think that they would do it. I really didn't.

But they did.

Thanks for proving me wrong, Viz. One Piece desperately needed this, too.

And I think that they indeed will release the numerous backlogged volumes in an accelerated release of some form. My gut is telling me that they won't do it like Naruto (multiple volumes per month), though I'm going to guess bi-monthly, or even monthly releases of One Piece. A Naruto-esque release is possible, but I don't know if they'd do that, especially since One Piece doesn't have the popularity to be able to pull such a thing off.

1) What about the large gap between SJ's One Piece today and where it will be when they skip ahead?

2) Fix your terms, Viz. No one wants to read 'Merry Go' or 'Zolo' or 'Roguetown'.

It'd be nice to see it in Viz Big format, but the Japanese versions of those types of volumes haven't been made yet since those are usually after a series finishes its run.

Hopefully we get faster releases of the manga because Viz is almost 30 volumes behind.

I'm on the "let's release a lot of volumes like Naruto" bandwagon. I really love this series.

If Funimation accelerated the DVD release schedule too, I'd be in sweet heaven. (Want to make it clear that I appreciate the fact that they're releasing the series unedited with a great dub though.)

Wow, I really wasn't expecting this, but I'm thrilled! Thanks, Viz. Let's hope you get us all caught up as quickly as possible!

But that's unfair to those who have bought the regular volumes and want a consistent looking collection on their shelf. One Piece Viz Big volumes can wait.

On a one volume per three month rate? Good luck.

Wow, 20 volumes. I do wonder how they'll release them. Even if they did 2 a month, that'd take nearly a year! But good news nonetheless.

I wonder what they'd call the campaign though...
