I gotta admit, seeing something other than Naruto on the list is refreshing. ^^ Hopefully the new Bleach volume will remain on the list for a little while.

Not the first time Bleach has been on the list though. But I'm glad also to see something other than Naruto on that list. I'm sure that the next volume of Fruits Basket will be able to make it onto the list as well, but I can only think of how much longer we can hold out with that series. Not long, either.

I see the trend of the newest volume being the highest selling of the group is continuing. Doesn't make sense, getting specific volumes and not others.

The newest volume tends to be the one that everybody will be after, so that they know the latest of what happens in the story.

These are sales-per-month, not all-time-sales. Only the best-selling titles of that month are going to show up. Suppose someone decides to leap on to a long-running series; they'll need to buy the earlier volumes, sure. But this won't show up on the "best sellers" chart because the number of people who buy volume three the same month that volume seventeen is released is quite low.
