I would love to see a Tetsujin 28 feature, and the clip was pretty good. I'd recommend that they change the voice-work though, and try to omit the whole "serious" music and narrator. Tetsujin was always a fun, bombastic show...even if it got dark at times.

Wow, it looks like near-Advent Children level hair from that clip. The clothes flow nicely. The robots look great and nice debris. I'd go to a theater for this one.

The narrator is what we're used to in theaters anyways. No problems with him either.

I just hope that Gatchaman comes out first. Those auditors were worrying about money issues before.

Gigantor the space age robot,
he's at your command,
Gigantor the space age robot,
his power is... in your hands!

There's sure been a lot of Tetsujin 28 revivals in the past few years. I wonder if the character Kenji Murasame will be in it.

Wow, this came out of nowhere.

While the robot action looks good, the tone is totally wrong. Like JohnathanEnder said, Tetsujin should be bombastic and fun. Not a super-serious, ultra-modern Advent Children ripoff. Hell, even in that horrible live-action Tetsujin movie from a few years back they still kept Shotaro in his school uniform. This new, "hip" Shotaro just makes me wanna gag.

But hey, if it's just a test, I can forgive them. I just can't see any major Hollywood studio paying to distribute a Tetsujin 28 movie.

Yeah, I couldn't see a studio distributing a Dragonball Z movie either, yet here we are. I also really like the animation, the teaser looks pretty nice. Everything I was going to object to has already been brought up: voice acting needs work, bring the tone back to the classic story, etc. However, overall it looks promising.

The problem with a Hollywood Tetsujin 28 is it would have to be re-done for American audiences. And I'm not sure how that would work.

I want to see that movie Very Happy

I just don't like those realistic character designs. Compared to the funky robot designs they just look plain.

It looks like they're mainstreaming it for a modern audience. A classical anime approach would prob die at the box office.

If the title has gotten this far, there prob is a Hollywood backer in the background. Maybe Summit Entertainment has an option in its contract to pursue Gatchman and/or T28.
